How does the Powerball Power Play work?
Power Play is an optional feature of the Powerball game that multiplies the value of non-jackpot prizes. The Power Play number drawn is 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10, and it is randomly selected during Powerball drawings.
If the Power Play number is 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 then all non-jackpot prizes are multiplied by that amount, except for the second prize which is automatically doubled.

How to add the Power Play to your Powerball entry?
When playing Powerball, you cannot select the Power Play yourself. However, you can opt for the Power Play option when buying your Powerball ticket. This guarantees that if you win a secondary prize, it will be multiplied by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10. The Power Play is drawn from a different set of numbers and determines how many times the secondary prizes will be multiplied, except the 2nd prize which is automatically doubled no matter what is the value of the Power Play.

Which are the Powerball prizes that are enhanced by the Power Play?

Powerball Power Play vs Mega Millions Megaplier
